The Bukkomi Claw is set to an absolute weight (about 14g) to provide outstanding casting distance and outstanding operability with a tackle setting of #4/0 class offset hook no-sinker rig + MH to H class bait tackle + thick line (fluoro 14lb or more).

In order to combine the three opposing elements of “casting distance”, “body strength” and “fascinating action” into one body, the head and body are molded with different materials.

The head (hula skirt) is made of a slightly hard non-salt material with strength and tension, which creates a lively action even during the fall.
